CADA: CN Last Dec Used Car Mkt Transaction Vol. Up 7.2% MoM; Full-yr Transaction Logs New High
In December 2025, the transaction volume of the used car market in China numbered 1.8711 million units, up 7.15% MoM, but down 1.53% YoY, with a transaction amount of RMB120.672 billion, data released by the China Automobile Dealers Association (CADA) showed.
For the entire year of 2025, the total transaction volume of used cars topped 20 million units, reaching a record high of 20.108 million units, up 2.52% YoY, with a total transaction amount of RMB1.29 trillion.
